Mehdipatnam: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Mayor, Bonthu Rammohan on Thursday announced that necessary steps would be taken to speed up the construction work of the double bedroom houses in Bojagutta. Beneficiaries of the Bojagutta double bedroom houses held a protest at the Mayor’s office on Thursday evening demanding immediate action on those who were obstructing the construction work of the double bedroom houses in Bojagutta. Also Read – Hyderabad: Wall collapse in Kukatpally damages four cars Advertise With Us Mayor Rammohan said that Bojagutta was the most valuable place in Greater Hyderabad to build double bedroom houses in a 13 acre of land for 1,824 poor people under the budget of Rs 141.36 crore, he said. Altogether, there are 213 families residing with population of 1,824. These families residing on area ranging from 10 sq yds to 60 sq yds and only few have not vacated their houses. Since, all obstructions have been cleared the construction of 2BHK will be completed very soon, said Mayor.
